I don’t have a smartphone, can I use a computer?

You can speak to an emergency medicine physician through your phone, computer, and most tablets!

Who do we serve? / I am unable to get service in my state?

Currently we are only operating in select states. We are continuously expanding and will spread to every state in the very near future. Until then, unless you are in one of our covered states we will not be able to offer you any medical evaluation or advice. Thank you for your patience!

What is a dependent?

A dependent is an individual whom you have legal custody over. In most cases this includes your child(ren) or adopted child(ren). At this time, anyone over the age of 18 will require their own account. For exceptions please email us.

Why can’t I have my 19 year old on my account?

Because of HIPPA rules and for patient confidentiality, we require anyone over the age of 18 to have their own account?

Can you refill my prescriptions?

We are very limited to the prescriptions that we can legally prescribe. Under no circumstances are we able to provide prescriptions for controlled substances, including narcotics and sedatives.

What do I do if my call was dropped?

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please either attempt to call again. You should receive a refund if this is the case. Please email us at admin@onercall.com if you have yet to receive your refund

I started a call but had to hang up. Why was I still charged 5 dollars?

We are sorry you had to leave. The fee is to cover a small portion of our operating costs at this time. Please email us at admin@onercall.com for further questions

Can I speak with a specialist?

All physicians answering these calls are emergency medicine trained, qualified to handle many symptoms and disease processes.

Can I review my doctor or select the doctor I speak with?

We do not currently have a function to select the physician you speak with. All physicians are emergency medicine trained and have all been reviewed by our selection committee.

Can I schedule a call for a future time?

At this time, you are not able to schedule a future appointment, but we are actively working on this feature. We may suggest that you follow up on a recent OnERcall visit by calling back the next day or in a specific timeframe, at which point, the physician you speak with will be well aware of your prior visit.
